CONGRATULATIONS
SURFERS ON A WIN FOR WEEK 4. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
SCORES
FOR MEET 4 ARE NOW POSTED.
We hope everyone will plan to attend the end of the season Surfer
Awards Party! on Tuesday July 21st.
For those veteran Surfers, this year’s event
will be a little bit different. We have been fortunate to have a winning season
and a full team roster. As a result, due to the numbers of swimmers/families, we
are unable to have a sit down banquet dinner this year without risking the
exclusion of a large number of our valued members. Therefore, we are trying a
new approach and planning the year end Surfer
Awards Party with dessert and dancing.
The Surfer Awards Party
will start at 7:00 with desserts, games and music for the swimmers and a cash
bar, appetizers and desserts for the adults. The awards and slideshow will start
at 8:00, followed with our traditional dance (including the bubble wrap!).
We hope that everyone will plan to attend. You might consider making
reservations at the club for dinner before the party.
Registration will begin at our Home Meet on Monday, July 6th. We
will require ALL registration by Friday, July 17th in order to plan
food and seating arrangements. If you have any questions please contact Jolene
Vanderzyl (281-265-0986) or Amy Young (281-491-6950).
